   Connection and Healing Through Music

Making music connects us to our inner selves. Singing and moving can open pathways in our bodies and connects to our emotions. Music creates a container for our emotions and our feelings. Making music with others creates deep connections often without using words or gestures, The act of singing, moving and playing together creates a kind of spiritual community. And, it is just lots of fun. Come join LeAnne Korbel as she leads the group in some easy, fun and beautiful music making. No skills required whatsoever! Just a love of music and a desire to connect.

Leanne was a Music Therapist at Cabrini Hospice for 8 years before she became a mom. She has taught Music Together for the last 17 years and is a Teacher Trainer and Workshop leader for the company. She has also been leading community music nights and having a ball! She was diagnosed with Breast Cancer 3 years ago, fought the battle and on Holly’s advice just “keeps swimming,” and of course singing too!
